Cooperative Education and Career Development

 

Cooperative Education and Career Development combines classroom study with actual full-time work experience at companies as if the students were their employees throughout the course of 16 weeks. The main emphasis is placed on 

learning by doing or a special project that is beneficial to the company, for instance, efficiency improvement or process problem-solving. This activity instills the students’ work and social skills as well as prepares them for their target professions, while equipping them with knowledge and skills that will attract more Interest from the labour market. In this regard, Suranaree University of Technology has maintained its position as the role model and leader in Thailand’s cooperative education. Moreover, it prepares students for exchange amongst ASEAN countries so as to open their opportunities to learn and obtain work in diverse cultures and environments, broadening their vision of the world.
