The Center of Excellence in Innovation for Sustainable Infra-
structure Development is a center of expertise that conduct research and
provide academic services to local and international organization. Under
the vision “Center of Excellence for Technology and Innovation in Sustain-
able Infrastructure” the center includes more than 30 researchers spanning
Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Manage-
ment Engineering, Architecture, and Multimedia Technology. The center
provides academic services in the form of lectures, on design experience
in civil engineering, as well as delivers services to major industrial sectors,
the Department of Rural Roads and the Department of Highways etc.

Center of Excellence in Biomass

The Center of Excellence in Biomass is committed to being the
country’s foremost research center. In the development of knowledge
and innovation, and all the dimensions of integrated development.
During the period of 2015 to 2019, the center aims to develop an
integrated approach to the issues of “Waste Management” and
“Renewable Energy”: 1. Research and Development Plan to develop
suitable technologies for Biomass and Waste, 2. Research and
Development Plan for energy and environmental laboratory, and
3. Research and Development Plan for sustainable environmental
management. These plans are in response to solving the national urgent
problems of renewable energy, alternative energy waste management,
and creating a sustainable environmental management system.
