Center of Excellence: CoE

The university has set up SUT-CoEs to develop and strengthenfaculty and researcher
capacity and to increase research productivity in line with the direction of university
research. The center is dedicated to supporting faculty and researchers at Suranaree
University of Technology, who possess high research potential, outstanding research
achievement, extensive experience and expertise in conducting national and international
research, high leadership ability, and are ready to lead and establish a specialized center
allowing the faculty and researchers to focus on one-of-a-kind, in-depth research.These
result in producing research that aligns with the research indicators of the university. Five
specialized centers have been established:

The Center of Excellence in Agricultural Product Innovation,
is a center for agricultural research with a wide range of technologies,
as well asdevelopment, adaptation and extension of technology to
gain new knowledge that will lead to the development of
food product or other value-added agricultural products, along
with the potential for commercial production. The Center has been
implemented in conjunction with curriculum development and
produce advanced agricultural technologists and researchers
to continually research and develop agricultural technology
in the region. The research and development in various fields have
been carried out, such as in the fields of plant science and production,
animal production, food products, toxic detection kit in agricultural
products, and the production of value-added products made from
agricultural materials.
