Embassy of Canada – SUT -Khao Yai National Park Launch New Nature Trail "Klong Plakang Trail" Celebrating 60 Years of Thailand-Canada Relations with Sustainable Ecotourism The Embassy of Canada, in collaboration with Suranaree University of Technology, Khao Yai National Park, and the Klong Plakang community, has developed the first eco-nature hiking trail in Wang Nam Khiao district, Nakhon Ratchasima province. This trail, known as the "Klong Plakang Trail," commemorates 60 years of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Canada.

It serves as Thailand's first national park application for hiking, promoting education about nature trails, providing information on plants, herbs, and wildlife such as birds, barking deer, bears, gaurs, and elephants along the route. Additionally, it involves communities in managing the trail as a model for sustainable tourism development.
