Water recycling Program implementation Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) created a system of Water Recycling Program Implementation to recycle wastewater retrieved from SUT buildings including office buildings, dormitories, and university stores. In order to get recycled wastewater with quality, wastewater management and recycled-water treatment processes were run respectively (a figure shown below illustrates the recycled-water treatment process) in which the latter consists of odor removal, ozone and chlorine disinfection, sedimentation, and sand filter processes.

The university can supply users with recycled water at the amount of 222,219 cubic meters/year which accounts for 20.73% of all water supply used/ year (846,553 cubic meters). The recycled and treated water is sent to buildings, student dormitories, and plant watering sites including toilet flush system at 73 buildings or 60% of all buildings and 24 plant watering sites or 70% of all sites. The water recycling diagram is shown in the figure.
