In this project used plastic bottles are melted and made into asphalt pavement sheets. This is to reduce the use of fresh asphalt by using plastics as substituting material. The mechanical properties of this material has been enhanced so that it has good load baring properties and can be applied to various types of work as follows.ี้ 1. Porous asphalt : good water permeability, appropriate for use as walkways in the garden/on grass 2. Asphalt brick : appropriate for use as walkways, can prevent slipping Asphalt brick is under development for application for use at the Student’s Activity Building.
