SUT collaborated with Advanced Info Service PLC and universities nationwide to participate in the Electronic Waste (E-waste) the Battle project which promotes gathering of e-wastes for further disposal via proper disposal method. The project promotes better environment and e-waste reduction in Thailand. The gathered e-wastes included mobile phones, tablets, power banks, mobile phone batteries, charge cables, and earphones which can be disposed at 15 sites in the campus. In total, 257 pieces of e-wastes were gathered for further recycling.
