Referring to the “SUT Zero Waste” operation plan, SUT aims to reduce waste amount following both the university development of becoming the Green University and Announcement of Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation on policy of promoting sustainable development based on BCG principle by using degradable straws instead of plastic straws. This program gained participation of 17 café and 9 canteen refreshment stalls and can reduce usage of plastic glasses and straws by 50%.
