Campaign to use biodegradable glass and straws

According to the "SUT Zero Waste" action plan, the university aims to reduce the amount of waste. This responds strategically to the University’s development plan on Building a Green University and encouragement from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Policy to support sustainable development following BCG principles by eliminating plastic and using biodegradable alternatives. There are 17 shops and beverage shops in the cafeteria. Nine shops reduced the use of plastic cups and straws and substitute biodegradable glass by 50%.
