SUT Say No Plastic Policy

Suranaree University of Technology has a policy to reduce the use of plastic in all areas, "SUT Says No to Plastic" by implementing five measures in collaboration with merchants within the university.
1. Do not dispense plastic bags from convenience stores, except for hot items.
2. Do not automatically dispense plastic spoons, forks, plastic straws, and seasonings, but let the service recipient pick them up by themselves.
3. Refrain from using foam and clear plastic boxes (only bagasse and paper-based packaging can be used).
4. Reduce the use of tubes with plastic wraps. If necessary, use paper wraps instead.
5. Discount on personal mugs and lunch boxes for food and beverages.
