Student dormitories at Suranaree University of Technology.
Suranaree University of Technology focuses on providing clean, comfortable, safe, and convenient accommodation with a conducive learning environment. It aims to promote, support, and develop students' physical, emotional, and social well-being through a Living and Learning Center. Various services are provided to ensure student happiness, with lower accommodation costs than off-campus dormitories, and sufficient rooms for all students. Currently, there are 17 student dormitories, and further construction is underway. Four more dormitories (air-conditioned) have been added. Currently, the dormitories are divided into three types as follows: Suranivet Dormitories 1-6 (female) and Suranivet Dormitories 7-12 (male) have shared bathrooms. The dormitory fee is 2,900 baht/person/semester, with 3 people per room. Suranivet Dormitory 13 (male) and Suranivet Dormitories 15-16 (female) have ensuite bathrooms. The dormitory fee is 3,100 baht/person/semester, with 3 people per room. Suranivet Dormitories 18-20 (female) and Suranivet Dormitories 21-22 (male) are air-conditioned. The dormitory fee is 6,500 baht/person/semester, with 3 people per room. A security deposit of 7,000 baht/person is required for damages. (Student Handbook, pages 42-49)
Service and welfare system
Student dormitories at Suranaree University of Technology offer comprehensive services and welfare programs to ensure student safety and comfort. Dormitory advisors are available 24 hours a day to provide assistance, and security personnel constantly monitor the dormitory premises for added security. Furthermore, there is an automated entry/exit system accessible via student ID card scanning, and CCTV cameras are installed around the dormitories for enhanced security and surveillance. Free Wi-Fi and drinking water are also provided. In addition, there are on-site parcel and postal service points for student convenience.
Student dormitories have a Learning Space, an area for activities and reading, allowing students to use their free time productively for learning and knowledge development. The dormitories also organize free course review activities from the Student Development Office, with tutors available on the ground floor of the dormitories to reinforce knowledge and prepare students for their studies. Each dormitory has ample parking space for motorcycles and cars for all students. For students who prefer not to use private transportation, the university provides a free shuttle bus service from the dormitories to academic buildings and other locations around the campus, making travel more convenient. Furthermore, the Primary Care Unit (PCU-SUTH) of Suranaree University of Technology Hospital is located near the dormitories for easy access to medical supplies and medications.

Rules and regulations for student dormitories at Suranaree University of Technology.
Gambling, drinking alcohol, smoking, or using any intoxicating substances or narcotics is strictly prohibited within the dormitory area. Bringing firearms, explosives, or flammable materials that may cause fire into the dormitory area is strictly prohibited. Keeping pets in the dormitory area is prohibited. Using any electrical equipment in the dormitory without permission from the Head of Student Services and Development is prohibited. Posting any notices or posters in the dormitory area without permission from the Head of Student Services and Development is prohibited. Bringing other individuals or students from other dormitories to stay in your dormitory is prohibited. Engaging in any activity that disturbs others is prohibited. Cooking in the dormitory area is strictly prohibited. Removing, modifying, moving, or adding to any materials or equipment in the dormitory is prohibited. Any activity that causes damage to the dormitory building and property is prohibited. Holding any celebratory events without permission from the Head of Student Services and Development is prohibited. Engaging in any business in the dormitory is prohibited. Displaying behavior that is detrimental to morality, ethics, and the good culture of Thai society is prohibited.
