In addition to physical measures, The university also focuses on raising awareness by organizing activities and publicity to make staff and students aware of the importance of using water economically. Creating a culture of appreciative water use helps everyone contribute to the success of the project and is the foundation for long-term sustainable water conservation.

The university's water management project is an effort that directly supports the SDGs. All of which can support the Sustainable Development Goals in a number of areas, including SDGs 4, 6, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17 and 14.
