The university has implemented the "SUT Smart Bus" project, an intelligent public transportation system consisting of 8 medium-sized air-conditioned buses designed to promote sustainable mobility and inclusive access within the campus.
The SUT Smart Bus fleet comprises 8 medium-sized air-conditioned buses specifically designed as low-floor buses to accommodate universal design principles. Each bus features dedicated space for wheelchair users, seating capacity for 20 passengers, and standing room for an additional 20 passengers. The buses are equipped with GPS tracking systems integrated with the "SUT Smart Transit" mobile application, enabling real-time vehicle location tracking to facilitate accurate travel planning. CCTV cameras are installed for basic security surveillance. The service operates daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
