Recycling Technology Transfer Workshop "Project to Promote and Expand Recycling Technology to Develop Waste as a Source of Renewable Resources in Bangkok, Kanchanaburi and Lampang"

The Department of Mineral Resources' Mineral Resources Analysis and Inspection Division sent eight officials to participate in a recycling technology transfer training workshop, "Project to Promote and Expand Recycling Technology to Develop Waste into Alternative Resources in Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, and Lampang." The workshop was organized by the Raw Materials and Related Industry Innovation Division, Department of Primary Industries and Mines, Ministry of Industry, in collaboration with the Metal Production and Recycling Innovation Research Center, Suranaree University of Technology, at the Kanyalak BC Meeting Room, Four Wings Hotel, Sukhumvit 26, Bangkok, on October 26-27, 2023.

Three research projects were presented:
1. Coal fly ash recycling technology for the production of siloxane.
2. Solder slag recycling technology for the production of tin oxide nanoparticles.
3. Solution recycling technology for the production of copper nanoparticles from printed circuit board etching.
This involves the reuse of industrial and household waste and its recyclability, enabling it to be reused and developed into a renewable resource.
Future research opportunities were also provided. This also provided an opportunity for the exchange of academic knowledge and information on collaborative research between relevant government agencies, educational institutions, and local industrial entrepreneurs.
