
Suranaree University of Technology organizes FtRCON2024, the 2nd full-time researcher's outstanding work exhibition
Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) by the Research and Development Institute organized the 2nd Full-time Researchers Conference 2024, Suranaree University of Technology: FtRCON2024 during July 18-19, 2024, providing a forum for sharing knowledge among lecturers, lecturers, and especially full-time researchers to exchange research experiences, publish high-quality research results, research techniques, and learn about interdisciplinary research formats that can apply knowledge to create even higher-quality research results.
In this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Rapee Utke, Director of Research and Development Institute, presided over the opening ceremony, with Associate Professor Dr. Krajang Talapnil, Deputy Director of Research and Development Institute, reporting on the event, along with special speakers, heads of research centers, lecturers and researchers from SUT, more than 100 people, attending the event at Chomphu Phuka Meeting Room, Plant Genetic Conservation Center under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Suranaree University of Technology (SUT-SUT), Klong Phai Subdistrict, Sikhio District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.
For important activities, there will be a special lecture from a qualified person on the topic of “Research and Innovation in biomedical Sciences” by Professor Dr. Suradet Hong-ing, a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital. Special lecture on “IP Trends for Academics” by Mr. Lars Andersson, Assistant Director of Technopolis for Innovation and Intellectual Property Management, SUT. Seminar on “Reflection on Research Innovation” by researchers from 5 fields of study. Also honored by Mrs. Thidarat Rodanan, President of the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Industrial Council, Mrs. Orrawan Kobwittaya, Vice President of the Nakhon Ratchasima Tourism Industry Council, and Associate Professor Dr. Amornrat Molee, Director of OPST-SUT, to join the seminar on “Nakhon Ratchasima Tourism: Strengths, Opportunities and Research”. In addition, there were presentations and research competitions by full-time researchers of SUT, both in the categories of Poster Presentation and Oral Presentation, an intellectual property exhibition by Technopolis, a booth displaying the work of OPST-SUT, and a field trip within OPST-SUT.
Suranaree University of Technology has more than 100 full-time researchers, some of whom are appointed as university lecturers. This helps produce high-quality research, resulting in continuous publication of research in international journals with high impact indexes, responding to university ranking indicators by world university ranking institutions, and creating innovations that can be applied in both the agricultural and industrial sectors.
