    Composting plant from organic waste

    The university collects food waste from cafeterias and offices to be composted as organic fertilizer within the composting plant from organic waste. Organic waste is managed together with inorganic waste within the integrated waste management plant with Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) or Composting technology. Belt sorting system, size reduction chopper, composting system, and glider to sort organic fertilizer and plastic. Converting waste into energy produces organic fertilizer and refuse-derived fuel (RDF) by-products. Soil amendment materials have been used to improve the quality of organic fert ilizers to replace chemical fert ilizers for further landscaping.
